چکیده
Traditional optomechanical research is rarely studied in compound glass, especially chalcogenide glass. In this paper, the forward and backward Stimulated Brillouin Scattering (SBS) demonstrated for first time a glass microsphere resonator. A high-purity with high quality (Q) factor of 2.1 × 107 investigated using 1550 nm tunable laser. experiment, resulting mechanical vibration frequencies caused by SBS are measured at 80 MHz 7.8 GHz, respectively. The triply resonant scattering process greatly enhances light–acoustic interactions, enabling threshold power to be 344 μW. work microresonator important potential applications which has higher nonlinearity low absorptions mid-infrared band.

Forward and backward stimulated Brillouin scattering of crossed laser beams.
The simultaneous forward and backward stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) of crossed laser beams is studied in detail. Analytical solutions are obtained for the linearized equations governing the transient phase of the instability and the nonlinear equations governing the steady state. These solutions show that backward SBS dominates the initial evolution of the instability, whereas forward S...

Near-forward Stimulated Brillouin Scattering
LLE Review, Volume 72 177 In stimulated Brillouin scattering1 (SBS) an incident (pump) light wave is scattered by the electron-density fluctuations associated with an ion-acoustic (sound) wave. This process generates a frequency-upshifted (anti-Stokes) light wave and a frequency-downshifted (Stokes) light wave. For most scattering angles the anti-Stokes wave is driven nonresonantly and can be n...
